We are thrilled to announce the commencement of nominations for the prestigious ISSUP Awards 2024! This is your chance to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of your peers and colleagues in the field of drug demand reduction.

At ISSUP, we firmly believe in acknowledging and honouring the exceptional efforts of individuals, organisations, projects, and initiatives dedicated to excellence in drug demand reduction. The ISSUP Awards provide a platform to showcase the incredible work happening worldwide in the areas of prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery support.
Award Categories
1. ISSUP Evidence-Based Drug Demand Reduction Initiative Award
This award recognises drug demand reduction initiatives, including projects, programs, and campaigns, that are evidence-based and contribute significantly to the advancement of prevention, harm reduction, treatment, or recovery support.
2. ISSUP Services to Drug Demand Reduction Award – Lifetime Achievement
This prestigious award honours individuals who have made remarkable and sustained contributions to drug demand reduction at the local, national, or international level. It's a testament to a lifetime dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by substance use.
3. ISSUP Local Drug Demand Reduction Initiative Award: Europe
This award celebrates projects and initiatives in the drug demand reduction field that have left a substantial impact at the regional and/or national level within Europe.
Awards Ceremony
The culmination of this exciting journey will take place at the ISSUP Event in Thessaloniki, Greece, in June 2024. The ISSUP Awards ceremony promises to be a memorable occasion where the efforts of our awardees will be acknowledged and celebrated on an international stage.
Nomination Process
Nominating your colleagues and peers is a straightforward process. Simply select a category above to submit an ISSUP Award Nomination Form, including reasons for your nomination, and send any documentation to support your application to info [at] issup [dot] net by December 31st, 2023. Please include the nominee's name, a brief description of their contributions, and the award category you are nominating them for.
