The Closing of the CHILD Training "Interventions for Boys, Girls and Adolescents with Substance Use Disorders" was held in the Emperatriz II Room of the Excelsior Hotel.

UTC CHILD/ PLAN COLOMBO Model, organized by the ISSUP Paraguay Chapter, through the Host Organization, the Norberto Bobbio School of Government, with the support of CICAD, OAS, ISSUP Global and Colombo Plan.

The course was directed by national trainers Dr. Carmen Sánchez and Mgter. Nadine González and the international coaches Lic. Valeria Fratto (Argentina), Mgter. Azucena Ávalos Perú (Peru) and Lic. Priscila Valladares (Chile).


We highlight the presence of our ISSUP Regional Coordinator for Latin America and Spain Bárbara Correa, Ambassador Pablo Sandino Martínez, OAS Representative in Paraguay, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Children and Adolescents Juan Marcelo Fernández, representatives of National Authorities and representatives of the organization and the benefactor companies of the course.
We thank OPACI, Banco Familiar S.A.E.C.A. and La Paraguaya Inmobiliaria S.A. for supporting the financing of this course.

On May 17 and 18, the last phase of the CHILD Training was held in the Emperatriz II Room of the Excelsior Hotel. There were six months of intense learning, under the hybrid modality and with the collaboration of national and international trainers, this time it was Priscila Valladares who arrived from Chile to close the course during two days of in-person sessions. In turn, the participants gathered from different regions of our country.


The skills acquired by the participants and the professional tools provided in the course will allow them to face the challenges of our social scenario with interventions based on scientific evidence.
The Course has the support of CICAD, OAS, ISSUP Global and Colombo Plan. At the local level we appreciate the support of OPACI, La Paraguaya Inmobiliaria S.A., and Banco Familiar S.A.E.C.A. that made the financing of this course possible.
