The UPC Coordinators Series provides a 288-hour training programme for prevention coordinators, managers, and students/trainees whose role includes, or will include coordination and supervision of the implementation of prevention interventions and/or policies. The content is organised within the following nine courses:
Handbook on Quality Standards for Interventions Aimed at Drug Experienced Young People in Contact with Criminal Justice Systems
As one of the objectives of the European Health Programme project “Exchanging Prevention practices on Polydrug use among youth in Criminal justice systems” (EPPIC), the present handbook of quality standards was produced to help practitioners improve the quality of interventions targeting drug experienced young people in contact with Criminal Justice Systems (CJS).
The drug use landscape is dynamic and changing. Changes in public attitudes and laws towards drug use have occurred in an increasing number of countries.
Global drug production and consumption are increasing as are the risks and harms to health, while new substances continue to emerge. This Series focuses on opioids, cannabinoids, stimulants, and new psychoactive substances.

2019 Conference Objectives
The inaugural SRNT-Oceania Chapter conference will be held in Sydney, Australia.
The aim of the conference is to share and celebrate the highest quality research and practice targeting tobacco use reduction and smoking cessation in Australia, New Zealand and Pacific nations throughout Oceania and the region.
The conference will be held on the 24th and 25th of October at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney.
The 14th European Opiate Addiction Treatment Association (EUROPAD) conference will be held in Grenoble, France on May 29-31, 2020.
