With generous support from Alcohol Research UK, the purpose of the day is to encourage the interplay and exchange of knowledge and ideas around the subject of drugs and alcohol. Speakers will be provocative and challenge received wisdoms with counter narratives. Respectful and evidenced challenge is encouraged by all attendees. There will be three main presentations and seven "lightning talks" intended to spark discussion, thought and actions.
The conference is open to people in recovery (including those in service-user representation roles), families, practitioners, service managers, commissioners, policy leads, researchers and others.
