National Alcohol & Drugs Education Conference 2018

Evidence-based best practice in alcohol and drugs education: empowering young people to make healthy choices in the classroom and beyond.
A day for professionals to hear from leading experts on the latest research on alcohol and drugs prevention, attend a choice of workshops on evidence-based programmes and receive planning and evaluation advice for effective PSHE.
The University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) and the EU drugs agency (EMCDDA) will be joining forces once again next summer to hold the seventh European Drugs Summer School (EDSS) on ‘Illicit drugs in Europe: Demand, Supply and Public Policies’. Registration is now open for the two-week course, which will take place in Lisbon from 25 June to 6 July, 2018.
The 2018 International Health Congress will take place in Oxford from 28th to 30th June. The conference focuses on the link between research and practice.
The themes for the 2018 conference include sustainable development goals in health and health care, clinical trials and new developments in health services. The event brings together health researchers from across the world and will be hosted by the University of Oxford.
