Since the early 2000s, adolescent drinking in Australia and in many high income countries has fallen dramatically. For example, among 14-17 year old Australians, the rate of risky drinking has fallen from 30% in 2001 to 9% in 2019. This seminar will summarise a program of work looking to understand these trends, addressing the potential causes of these declines, the implications for adult drinking and harm and next steps for research.
Due to COVID-19 the VNGOC Board has decided that all of the meetings during the 64th CND, including the Annual General Assembly and the Informal Dialogues, will be online events this year.
